The Spring LOTSW event was hosted by Andrew starting from 'Chateau Smith' and a pleasant spring morning. A brief 30 minute stroll clearly fatigued the team as a bacon sandwich and coffee was needed at the Delamere Forest Cafe (and very good it was too). We then continued through the forest, across Manley Common and finally to our destination - the excellent Goshawk pub in Mouldsworth. We were all pretty full after breakfast so only managed the 'lite bites' (which were very good) and a local ale (also very good).
We then took the train back from Mouldsworth to Delamere where Andrew provided tea & a guided tour of Cheshire's other important telescope. There was one amusing interlude on the train platform (click
